Whilst we cannot consider possessing any specialist expertise in taxation advice, one of our Principal solicitors has had a background in taxation law having worked in the tax section of a major city law firm before coming to Peacockes. Revenue implications (i.e. principally taxation and stamp duty) permeate most business transactions. Where we are unable to give the correct advice concerning taxation or stamp duty considerations, we encourage clients to obtain the relevant advice from their accountant or in certain cases we obtain the advice from a specialist taxation accountant or barrister. Most of our taxation advice is given in conjunction with other business transactions rather than on a stand alone advisory basis.
